Texas Election – Rumor Mill
Apparently 60% of registered voters voted early. Is that possible? As I’ve been saying the pollsters who base their estimates on previous elections are going to be shocked by African American and Latino turnout.
Waited 45 minutes in line this morning to vote this morning. When I got to the front of the line, there were two choices: Sign in for the Democratic Primary, or the Republican Primary. Of all of those before me…ONE person had signed up republican. More to come.
Update: Precinct 278 in Austin, Texas:
Primary voting: Obama – 360+ Clinton – 220
Almost 100% (it looked like a mathematically impossible number of 1000) of the voters showed up to caucus. An absolutely amazing experience.
