Hillary’s Religious Background
Uh, this sounds a little creepy, but I guess most religions are. This linked story about Hillary has a weird mix of Skull and Bones meets Opus Dei. Throw in a healthy dose of Hillary and you’ve got a tri-fecta of shadiness.
Skull and Bones, Opus Dei…I’d like you to meet Scary Hillary. Scary Hillary…this is Skull and Bones and Opus Dei. (by the way, say hello to former President Bush just to the left of the clock)

McCain Having Problems with Words
John’s Problems started last week when he thrice stated that Iran was training Al-Qaeda. Never mind that Iran is Shiite and Al-Qaeda in Iraq is mainly Sunni militants. Luckily Joe “Droopy Dog” Lieberman was there to correct him.
Quick, which slow talking whiner loves to kiss up to Bush?

John, then decided that all of these gaffes meant that he needed a teleprompter…which fell behind and he wasn’t able to finish a sentence of what happens when peoples’ wallets get tight.
Today, John decided that speaking on his own and off of a teleprompter were just too risky, so he just went with the easiest solution…use someone else’s speech and you really can’t screw things up. Ironically, the speech was about how “John” doesn’t like war. Considering John has promised more wars and 100 more years of Iraq, I’d say he probably wouldn’t know what to say about not liking wars. I guess using someone else’s speech is not a bad plan John, your senility is showing with your own words.
McCain: “Foiled by InfoGiant once again!”

Hillary Waits Two Weeks to Comment on Reverend Wright…
It couldn’t be that she’s trying to pull attention away from her making up stories about being a commando in Bosnia, could it?
The old wag the dog technique…a Clinton oldie but goodie.

Hillary and her trip to Bosnia
I wrote about this in a previous blog. McCain may not be able to remember the difference between Sunni and Shiia and how Al Qaeda fits in to the equation (who needs that information before ba-ba-bombing Iran?), but Hillary has trouble differentiating between kissing a little girl and dodging sniper fire upon arrival at the airport. By the way, who brings her daughter along to sniper infested airports? Oh yeah, Hillary does.
She’s just a liar and that’s all I have to say about that.

Obama’s Speech
Barack Obama: A unique life, experience, and person. He continues to inspire, think, and show that he has the ability to lead the country going forward.
Obama nets 10 (additional) delegates from Iowa
Many of John Edwards delegates switch to Obama (remember he finished second in Iowa, Hillary third), and one of Hillary’s defected.
So, a quick recap: Hillary Wins Ohio (9) and Rhode Island (4) and picks up 13 delegates. Barack wins Vermont (3), Texas (5), Wyoming (2), and Mississippi (5) while also picking up 10 more delegates in Iowa. That’s plus 13 for Hillary, and plus 25 for Obama since his 11 state winning streak…and now he’s up by 170 elected delegates. I thought Bill said that Hillary had to win Ohio and Texas big to have a chance. I guess the Clinton’s aren’t always the best and have the truth flow from their lips.
Side note: If Hillary doesn’t like Caucuses because “working people” can’t show up to vote, then how did Edwards’ working class voters give him a second place finish? Answer: People have to really like you to want to participate in a caucus for you. Hillary still gets votes based on name recognition, but is still hated by many and has the highest negatives of anyone left in the race. Is it possible to win a majority in the national election when the majority hates you?
Olbermann Speaks Up on Hillary’s Scorched Earth Approach
In his commentary last night, Olbermann tells the public about the lunacy of her approach.
CNN Calls the Texas Caucus for Obama
After analyzing the results precinct by precinct, CNN has projected Obama as the winner of the Texas caucus. In the primary, Hillary picked up 4 delegates. The caucuses swung heavily in Obama’s favor and he is projected to pick up 9 delegates there for a 5 delegate win in Texas.
New Excuse for Clinton:
Well I guess it’s an old excuse they tried to use in South Carolina, but now they’re trying it again since they already scared off all of the African American vote. In an attempt to get more of the women vote, Hillary is again using the “it ain’t fair cuz he’s black” excuse. I guess she figures she can come back and kiss some ass later, but she can kiss the black vote goodbye even if she was able to steal the election with superdelegates.
So, what did she do this time? She sent her fundraiser and former VP candidate Geraldine Farraro out to say Barack wouldn’t be where he was if he was white or a woman. Yes, those black folk always have it easy.
Hey Hillary, you’ve never…say, used your gender to try to get a vote have you? Oh, you’re doing it now.
Hey Hillary, you never…say, got any extra mileage because a family member was famous or something did you?
Will the hypocrisy ever end? Is Hillary actually the worst person in the world?
I can’t remember who…but it seems like Hillary might be riding someone else’s coattails to her impressive second place finish. Neither Geraldine nor Hillary see the irony.

Hillary Clinton in: The Grifters
Anyone remember the movie The Grifters starring Annette Benning and John Cusack? You know the one where the con artists try to trick people into giving up their money in return for something the grifter never had to offer?
What a perfect representation of Hillary Clinton:
Hillary says “trust me,” I have nothing to hide…but please don’t worry about me not telling you about where my husband and I get our money from (even though we already know $31,000,000.00 and a promise of $100 million more came from a shady mining donation after Bill went on a tour to trumpet the virtues of a dictator to get the miner the business).
Hillary says “trust me,” I’ve been touting all of my years of service as first lady and what I’m telling you were very serious trips I took on behalf of the government. However, don’t worry that I won’t release the details of those trips….I promise you wouldn’t laugh once you found out that they were diplomatic trips I took with Sinbad and Sheryl Crow.
Hillary says “trust me,” don’t worry that I’m mathematically eliminated from the presidency…I promise that if I steal the election from Obama by bribing superdelegates that I’ll offer him the Vice Presidency…so it’s okay to vote for me! What, I’m in second place? Well, his states weren’t big…I mean…how in the world would a democrat not named Clinton win New York or California?
“Trust me” she says.
I say look out for your wallet/vote…or prepare to be grifted.
The Clinton Family Portrait, always looking for an angle.

“Bill did not have sex with that woman……….Ms. Lewinsky!!!” “You tell ‘em honey!”
Hillary wins Texas!! (oh wait…no she didn’t)…
In the media’s lust to continue competing with American Idol for advertising dollars, they’ve succeeded in keeping the Democratic race going by prematurely declaring a victory for Hillary in Texas. Problem is, she’s not going to have the most delegates. What decides the winners of these elections? Delegates.
This isn’t the first time the media has gone down this path. Some may remember all media outlets in 2000 calling the election early for Bush in Florida when he actually lost the election (until the Supreme Court stepped in).
On to 2008, where Barack “lost” New Hampshire after Hillary’s crying episode. Delegate count? Clinton - 9 Obama - 9. Yep, quite the comeback for Hillary after being up by 30 points in the polls.
Nevada, Hillary threatens to sue because she didn’t like the caucus process, but then she “won” more votes, so she dropped that rhetoric. Delegate count? Clinton - 12 Obama - 13. Huh? That doesn’t seem like a win to me.
Texas, Hillary scored a “huge” victory by winning the Primary and likely picking up 1-4 (yes, that is correct) delegates. Problem is, the caucus is still being counted and will fall to Obama, with him picking up 5-7 delegates and will be the actual winner in Texas, by several delegates.
By the way, Hillary is threatening to sue the Texas caucus process. Oh, that’s right…you already knew that.
Election Results - What Happened?
Simply put, my projection of 26% turnout by African Americans was unfounded. Apparently, they feel the same about John Kerry as they do Barack Obama. I’m joking, they obviously have increased their vote along with the rest of Texas…it just wasn’t to a higher degree.
Unfortunate for Barack, although with his pledged delegate lead didn’t change much, Hillary just ran another 10 yards in this 40 yard dash, and is still five steps behind with 5 steps left to go.
Texas Election - Rumor Mill
Apparently 60% of registered voters voted early. Is that possible? As I’ve been saying the pollsters who base their estimates on previous elections are going to be shocked by African American and Latino turnout.
Waited 45 minutes in line this morning to vote this morning. When I got to the front of the line, there were two choices: Sign in for the Democratic Primary, or the Republican Primary. Of all of those before me…ONE person had signed up republican. More to come.
Update: Precinct 278 in Austin, Texas:
Primary voting: Obama - 360+ Clinton - 220
Almost 100% (it looked like a mathematically impossible number of 1000) of the voters showed up to caucus. An absolutely amazing experience.
Hillary Clinton and Her Credibility Problem
When you vote to authorize going to war, and then criticize the person who requested the vote for taking you up on your authorization…you have a credibility problem.
When you say that special interests in Washington are the problem, but take more money from special interests than anyone…you have a credibility problem.
When you agree that since Florida and Michigan broke party rules and that their vote won’t count, and then you threaten to sue to count their vote after you win uncontested…you have a credibility problem.
When you know the rules of the caucus process and in many cases your husband helped to set them up, and then complain that they are unfair after losing 11 of 12 caucuses…you have a credibility problem.
When your campaign manager and your husband helps to set up the Texas voting process, and then you complain that they aren’t somehow fair…you have a credibility problem.
When your husband takes a $100 million donation from a shady businessman after you sell out to a dictator to get him the business, and then try to hide where you get your money from Democratic voters…you have a credibility problem.
When you lose 24 of 36 contests including 12 in a row, and it is mathematically impossible for you catch up in pledged delegates, but say that one win means that your opponent can’t close…you have a credibility problem.
There’s a reason people don’t like Hillary Clinton and never have. It has nothing to do with her gender, race, or her husband. Hillary Clinton has a credibility problem.
Why You Should Vote in the Texas Caucus
I previously gave an explanation of the Texas voting procedures, but wanted to give a bit more information for those who are voting on March 4 and/or plan to caucus in the evening.
First, where do you caucus? You caucus at the same place that you are required to vote on March 4. While you could early vote up to February 29 at any polling location, you have a specific place that you vote and caucus on March 4 (click on this text to find out your location).
Second, why should you caucus? Well, 1/3 of your vote comes from the caucus…so, unless you just partially want your vote to count, you should plan to go out to caucus at 7:00. Since a much greater majority will be voting in Texas in the Primary, showing up to Caucus will actually help whichever candidate much more than your actual primary vote. So, while the primary vote may count for 2/3 of the delegates, your individual vote will be worth significantly less than your Caucus vote. I’ve made a chart with a best guess estimate as to the Democratic voter turnout for both the primary and the caucus which shows the impact of your vote in each:
|
|
Total Vote |
Your % of the Vote Total |
Delegate Apportionment |
Your % of the Delegate Total |
|
Primary |
4,000,000 |
0.000025% |
65.28% |
0.000016% |
|
Caucus |
400,000 |
0.000250% |
34.72% |
0.000087% |
This chart reveals in this scenario of total votes cast that while the primary is worth twice the amount of delegates, showing up for the caucus is worth five times the impact.
Good luck!
Update: I’ve also added my final election prediction for Texas.
